Siteworks

The first sitework was creating a gateway into the field making it accessible to the public. Each day we would engage in Earthworks in The Central Field, alone or with participants. Earthworks involved working with the land: painting it blue, carving out a circle and pouring a concrete circular path which the residents  dropped coins into from their country of origin. We  build earth mounds and borrowed from the adjacent graveyard of discarded, building materials. The site was activated daily through these interventions.
